Job Description
The position of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Functional EBS Manager is a business-critical role, reporting to our Mission Systems UK Head of IT.
You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support and development of our Oracle E-Business Suite(EBS) system across General Dynamics in the UK, working collaboratively with the business functions such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc and process owners and of course the end users. This is a heavily audited system that has to conform to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX).
You will lead a small internal Oracle team while managing and collaborating with two service providers that support and maintain our Oracle cloud implementation and underpin E-Business Suite application support and development.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, including databases, Java plugins, and SQL/PLSQL
* Extensive experience in Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules within Oracle EBS
* Strong analytical skills and ability to critically analyse design options
* Excellent project management skills, delivering challenging projects on time and to budget
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
* Experience working with outsourcing partners in an IT function
* Degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience (preferred)
* Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Splash BI, Power BI) and ERP systems (preferred)

Additional Information
Salary for this position is 72,000 to 90,000, depending on experience plus our excellent flexible benefits package.
For this role we offer hybrid working with some time spent working from our offices ( either Oakdale, South Wales or Hastings) and home. We will also consider applications for those seeking remote working where appropriate.
