Vehicle Technician required for North Tyneside
1. Basic Salary experience dependent - up to c.£39,000.
2. Other packages are available to suit different skill levels.
3. Uncapped experience dependent OTE c.£49,000.
4. Working Hours: 40 - Hours per week (Saturdays on a 1 in 4 Rota basis).

6. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
7. This clients offers manufacturer accreditation training as well as EV training to keep up with the movement in the industry.

Our client, a renowned Franchised Dealership, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team in North Tyneside. I have worked alongside the client for a while and have placed many happy candidates here! The ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
What will the successful Vehicle Technician do?
9. Use measuring tools and diagnostic equipment to generate accurate diagnostic reports for the Workshop Controller
10. Analyze and apply technical data and manufacturer instructions correctly
11. Perform routine maintenance and servicing on vehicles brought into the workshop
12. Dismantle and reassemble vehicle components following manufacturer-approved procedures
13. Conduct comprehensive vehicle health checks to identify issues and concerns
14. Prepare vehicles for new and Approved Used status, including inspections and adjustments
15. Carry out technical repairs adhering to established procedures and quality standards
16. Record all faults, work details, labor hours, and materials used on job cards
17. Report any additional faults or delays to the Service Manager or Workshop Controller
18. Ensure vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers
19. Maintain vehicle safety, protection, and cleanliness during servicing and repairs
20. Keep the workshop organized and tidy at the end of each shift, ready for the next team
The successful Vehicle Technician will have
21. A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
22. Own Set of Tools.
23. Full UK Driving License.
24. MOT License desirable.
The successful Vehicle Technician will get
25. Uncapped OTE of c.£49,000 with optional overtime.
