We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Salesforce Architect to join a leading UK bank undergoing a major digital transformation. This role is pivotal in shaping the bank's Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Architect and design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Financial Services Cloud. Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for Salesforce within the bank's digital transformation programme. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), and internal security standards. Provide technical leadership to Salesforce developers, admins, and integration specialists. Oversee integration with core banking systems, third-party APIs, and enterprise platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, AWS, Azure). Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality delivery. Stay current with Salesforce releases and innovations, advising on their applicability to the bank's ecosystem. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect, ideally in the banking or financial services sector. Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools. Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and compliance frameworks. Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is highly desirable. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools like Git, Copado, or Gearset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA are a strong plus.
