Analytical Chemical Development Scientist
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. This full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term contract position works a flexible 36.5‑hour week, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine and non‑routine analytical testing for regulatory starting materials, intermediates and drug substance using LC, GC, MS and spectroscopic techniques.
* Develop and validate LC and GC analytical methodology.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and support continuous improvement of quality and service.
* Document data accurately in electronic notebooks and chromatographic data systems.
* Prepare reports and update documentation as requested by the Lead Scientist or client representative.
Qualifications
* Degree in Chemistry or analytical chemistry.
* Strong knowledge of organic chemistry and analytical science.
* At least 4 years of relevant pharmaceutical analysis experience in a development laboratory.
* Experience in method development and validation; additional techniques such as NMR and LC‑MS advantageous.
* Proven ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and analytical issues.
* Good understanding of GMP environment and quality standards.
