We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in domiciliary care, providing person centred care in the comfort of our clients homes. Duties
7. Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
8. Provide patient care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring comfort and safety
9. Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
10. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements
11. Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies to promote mental well-being
12. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
13. Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
14. Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
15. Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialised care techniques
16. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members
Requirements
17. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
18. Knowledge of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care is advantageous
19. Valid driving licence for transportation duties
20. First aid certification or willingness to undertake training upon appointment
21. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support
22. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and medication management
23. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
24. Flexibility to work shifts as required; previous experience in caregiving roles is preferred but not essential
25. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
