Plans, delivers, and monitors change initiatives, including project deliveries, using both waterfall and agile methodologies, ensuring improved effectiveness and efficiency within the technology function.

The role
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Communicate project progress and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and methodologies, both waterfall and agile.
• Facilitate project meetings and workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• Monitor and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Ensure projects align with the organisations strategic goals and objectives.
The person
• Project management - ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines
• Project planning - ability to create project schedules, allocate resources, define milestones and track progress
• Risk management & QA - ability to identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement quality control processes
• Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Attention to detail - keen attention to detail in identifying defects and ensuring accuracy
• Time management - ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support
• Experienced in project management or a related role
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
• Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies
• Experience managing security projects could be advantageous
