The role of the Care Quality Assurance Coordinator will:
1. Conduct audits across residential and nursing homes using a robust framework aligned with CQC or Care Inspectorate standards
2. Identify and showcase areas of positive practice, celebrating excellence in care delivery
3. Highlight opportunities for improvement and provide constructive, tailored feedback
4. Work closely with operational teams to support sustainable, long-term enhancements in service quality
5. Produce clear, insightful reports that inform and empower care teams
6. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, helping services evolve and excel
Skills and experience:
7. Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Auditor, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as the CQC’s Single Assessment Framework or the Care Inspectorate’s Quality Framework
8. Ability to translate regulatory expectations into practical, supportive guidance for care teams
9. Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to deliver clear, actionable feedback
10. A collaborative mindset, working effectively with operational colleagues to drive improvement
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to different teams and service settings
12. A dynamic and forward-thinking approach to quality assurance and service development
13. Passion for partnership working and a commitment to enhancing care standards
14. Willingness to travel regionally, with flexibility across varied residential and nursing home environments
