Job Summary: • Oversee and support a team of Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) in ensuring compliance with parking regulations under the Traffic Management Act 2004. • Undertake enforcement patrolling activities, ensuring the smooth and lawful operation of parking enforcement across the Borough. • Manage and develop team members, fostering a performance-driven and positive work environment while handling operational and administrative duties. Job Description: As member of Management Team, responsible for access for staff to daily operations and maintaining high standards of site security. Responsible for daily distribution of enforcement equipment to Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs), audit stock levels, and report any damages or shortfalls, as required. Monitor and action radio transmissions from CEOs on patrol, providing clear and informed guidance on enforcement matters, including appropriate escalation of any safety issues. Maintain excellent knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and ensure all enforcement activities align with legislation, providing coaching and guidance to staff to help drive performance. Ensure effective daily deployment of CEOs across the Borough, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring high-quality enforcement activities. Timely response to enforcement requests received from the public, ensuring assignments are logged, followed up, and feedback is provided in line with Company standards. Manage processes around parking suspension requests, reviewing requests, creating signage, assigning for deployment, and ensuring enforcement planning is in place. Conduct fleet management audits, including assigning and collecting vehicle keys, checking licenses, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. Oversee team development by delivering local training, conducting one-on-one sessions, undertaking performance appraisals, implementing Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and participating in annual employee reviews. Foster a positive workplace culture using company tools such as Recognise and Kudos-board to celebrate achievements and enhance motivation. Utilise key insights from the Peakon survey to develop action plans that drive positive changes, improving team engagement and growth. Perform on-street enforcement duties, including issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), conducting CEO spot checks, and supporting new officer training. Work collaboratively with HR and Operational Support Manager to manage team-related matters, including absence management, disciplinary matters, performance concerns, recruitment, induction and leaver processes. Conduct regular audits of signage, cones, and other enforcement tools, identifying shortfalls and arranging stock replacement, as needed. Worker Type: Regular Number of Openings Available: 1
