Job overview
NELFT operate a the complete mental health pathway, this is split into the delivery of community service by Place and the mental health crisis pathway is delivered buy the Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate (ARD) on behalf of all 4 outer Outer North East London (ONEL) places.
The Integrated Care Director with a local team of clinicians, users by experience and corporate colleagues will lead the delivery of safe, high quality and productive services for ARD. NELFT and our partners in the Local Authority are very much focused on the delivery of the best health and care services for the people of the ONEL Places. The ARD directorate is currently leading on the implementation of relational security, relational care, safer staffing, inpatient model delivery and embedding the lived experience in decision making.
The successful applicant will have a key role in leading the further development of the strategic direction of ARD and ensuring coproduction is at the heart of that strategy.
The person appointed will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of both mental health and care services and will be able to demonstrate a track record of appropriate service delivery at a senior level. A commitment to coproduction and valuing voices of lived experience is essential to this role.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and leading the ARD LT, our Integrated Care Director will relentlessly focus on the needs of the local community. that are directly using ARD services and also support the Place teams in ONEL support their communities. The post holder will establish and maintain close working relationships with internal NELFT partners and external partners to ensure the smooth delivery of services. The Integrated Care Director will ensure that services are delivered and improved through close working with clinical leadership, the use of Quality Improvement methodology and co-production with service users, carers and staff. They will work closely with partners in collaboratives across North East London to deliver improvements in service quality and delivery, and associated health improvements for local populations.

High Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735).
On-call allowance
This post will be required to participate in the Trust on-call rota and attracts payment of of the basic salary.
