About the Role
As a Product Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, creative packaging solutions across our own label product range. Working closely with buying, marketing, and supplier teams, you’ll ensure packaging not only looks great but is functional, compliant, and aligned with brand strategy. From concept through to production, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our products are presented, ensuring consistency and excellence at every stage.
Key responsbilites
* Create and develop packaging concepts in line with brand guidelines and product requirements
* Manage packaging design projects from initial brief through to final production and launch
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
* Ensure all packaging meets regulatory, technical, and sustainability standards
* Continuously review and improve packaging based on customer insight, trends, and business needs
Based on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs. About You
You will be a creative and detail-oriented designer with a passion for translating ideas into impactful packaging solutions. You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency. You will communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, bringing ideas to life while balancing creative vision with commercial practicality. You will also be proactive in staying ahead of design trends and sustainability practices, ensuring your work adds value and supports wider business goals.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in packaging design, ideally within retail, FMCG, or own label environments
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
* Solid understanding of packaging production processes, materials, and print specifications
