Job Description
One of our professional sports clients is looking for interim support from a Commercial Lawyer over the next 3 to 6 months.
The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills and commercial awareness of the sports industry.
What the role will involve:
* Advising on and negotiating general commercial contracts tailored to the unique needs of a football club.
* Managing sponsorship and partnership agreements to maximise commercial opportunities.
* Drafting consultancy contracts that support the club’s operations.
* Some property-related work, such as leases or facility use agreements, ensuring compliance and protecting the club’s interests.
* Sponsorship agreements for advertising on LEDs around the stadium or for the club’s football shirts.
* Dealing with data protection matters such as subject access requests and updating policies.
This assignment is part-time, 3 to 4 days a week, working on a hybrid basis.
