Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year Requirements: Proven ability as a Human Factors practitioner in defence or a safety-critical industry Proven ability in the application of Def Stan 00-251 Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects Background in military or defence environment within the last 12 months, or capability of obtaining security clearance (SC Level minimum) Responsibilities: Support Vigilant lead HFI specialist in human factors activities and integration of HF into the TRINITY design Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials, and User-Centred Design activities Assess prototypes/mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions Conduct analyses such as task analysis, human error analysis, usability and workload assessments Support Integration Testing and verification activities Produce reports and input to customer deliverables Technologies: Hardware Support Security More: We are looking for a Human Factors Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Christchurch Dorset, with a hybrid work model allowing for 3 days on-site.
