We’re seeking a motivated New Business Consultant who’s passionate about people, skilled at creating meaningful connections, and excited to help our growing business reach new clients and markets.
As our New Business Consultant, you will play a key part in expanding our portfolio of corporate pension and employee benefits clients. This is a role with huge future potential, perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and closing deals.
Responsibilities:
1. Maximising leads from our digital and telesales activity
2. Building strong relationships with introducers to uncover new business opportunities
3. Managing and attending prospect meetings with confidence
4. Acting as the main point of contact during all new business negotiations
5. Preparing, checking and presenting bespoke solutions to prospects
6. Owning the end-to-end sales process to secure new clients
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
7. Proven experience in a B2B sales role
8. Experience in financial services (pensions/employee benefits) is advantageous
9. Hold, or be willing to work towards, a QCF Level 4 qualification (support provided)
10. Ability to confidently represent yourself, our brand, and the services we offer
11. Motivation and commitment to providing exceptional service
12. Takes pride in personal development and always aims to exceed expectations
13. Works well both independently and as part of a supportive team
14. Has excellent time management, organisation and communication skills
15. Has strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
16. Strong IT skills and proficiency with MS Office
In return we are offering:
17. A competitive base salary of £40,000–£50,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills, with the potential to earn an overall OTE of £90,000
