The Croydon office has a social, close-knit team of around 12, and you’ll be stepping into a key position taking over established project work within the rail sector, including bridges, canopies and temporary works.
The role suits an “all-rounder” design engineer with either structural or temporary works experience who’s keen to broaden into the other discipline. You’ll liaise directly with clients, manage your own workload, and play a visible part in shaping design solutions across multiple rail projects.

Essential Requirements
2–6 years’ design experience in structural or temporary works design engineering
Proven rail project experience (essential)
Confident communicator with client-facing experience
Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Nice to Have
Dual exposure to both structural and temporary works design
Working towards ICE or similar professional accreditation
Interest in mentoring or supporting junior staff
