Overview
Two or three Personal Assistants are required to provide support for a 28‑year‑old man in the Bransholme area of Hull. He wants staff who are fun to spend time with. He is a lovely young man with a great sense of humour and enjoys football, rugby and going to the MKM stadium. He likes getting donuts and ice cream in Brid, going to the disco, playing on the Xbox and thoroughly enjoying life to the full. He is a pleasure to work with in a lovely friendly home environment.
Responsibilities
He has complex needs and is a wheelchair user. As the young man's personal assistant you will be required to provide support with eating, personal care, some cleaning and social activities.

Qualifications
Ideally the successful applicants will have NVQ level 3 in Healthcare or the equivalent experience working in the care sector. All necessary training will be provided. A car driver with a clean driving licence is preferred as the PA will be required to drive the young man's adapted vehicle. The successful applicant will be employed subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority.
