IT Project Coordinator
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading global media organisation to recruit an IT Project Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced technology function supporting the successful delivery of a broad portfolio of IT and business technology projects. Working closely with Project Managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple workstreams while coordinating across a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of IT and technology projects across the organisation.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, and project documentation.
- Coordinate project activities across infrastructure, applications, digital, and business systems teams.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder forums.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation where required.
- Produce regular project status reports and updates for key stakeholders.
- Support resource planning and coordination across project teams.
- Manage project documentation and ensure governance standards are maintained.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers and technology partners to support project delivery.
- Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, and procurement activities where required.
- Drive continuous improvement of project processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, IT Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, Project Support Officer, or similar role.
- Experience supporting the delivery of technology, infrastructure, software, digital, or business systems projects.
- Understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience maintaining project documentation including RAID logs, project plans, and status reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional technology teams.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to PMO environments or project governance frameworks.
- Experience within media, broadcasting, digital content, or entertainment organisations.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Foundation, or equivalent.
