As the Ward Manager on Laurel ward, you will be fully supported by a Matron as well as the care group leadership which includes the Lead Nurse, Service Director, and Director of Nursing. The post holder will be expected to engage in on-going professional development and appraisal, engagement in Quality Improvement initiatives and contribution to the strategic development of the service. Working for our organisation Laurel Ward is situated on the Carlton Court Hospital site, is a purpose-built Ward that provides services for men and women with dementia. The ward has an MDT that includes nursing team, OT, social workers, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, physical health nurses and a discharge facilitator.
