Protective Service Officer – £15.40 per hour plus expenses paid – 42 hours per week
Covering Scotstoun, Govan, Bishopton, and Hillend as required.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.40 plus expenses paid, 42 hours per week on a varied shift pattern (days, nights, weekends), career growth and development opportunities, supportive and professional team environment, full training and uniform provided, exciting deployments, and short‑notice operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Asset Protection: Maintain a secure environment for client properties, equipment, and personnel.
* Mobile Protection: Travel between multiple sites to provide dynamic and rapid‑response security.
* Surveillance & Monitoring: Operate security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control.
* Incident & Emergency Response: React effectively to emergencies and liaise with relevant services.
* Enforcement of Protocols: Implement site‑specific security measures, visitor management, and ID checks.
* Stakeholder Support: Engage with staff, visitors, and contractors with professionalism.
* Professional Conduct: Maintain a smart appearance and represent the client with integrity.
Qualifications
* Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle (Essential)
* British Citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years
* Ability to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
* 5‑year checkable work history
* Previous experience in security or protective services (Preferred)
* Strong communication, observational, and decision‑making skills
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
* Able to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
