We’re looking for a talented Electrical Engineer based in Dumbarton to design, develop, and support electrical systems for Aggreko-manufactured products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our electrical designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

What you’ll do:
6. Design, develop, and sustain electrical systems for a wide range of Aggreko products
7. Capture and manage electrical system requirements, supporting integration, validation, and commissioning
8. Produce specifications, schematic and wiring diagrams, and test procedures
9. Develop and maintain electrical CAD models using EPLAN and AutoCAD
10. Maintain accurate Bills of Material and part specifications
11. Provide engineering support to manufacturing and operational teams globally
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
12. Proven experience in electrical systems design, preferably in equipment or product development
13. Proficiency with EPLAN P8, EPLAN Pro Panel, and AutoCAD
14. Strong knowledge of electrical controls, panel building, generator controls, and drives
15. Ability to perform electrical design calculations up to 13.8kV
16. Familiarity with PLM, MRP, engineering change control, and international standards
17. Excellent communication and organisational skills
