The Lead Salesforce Developer will provide technical leadership to the Salesforce team (onsite and offsite) and provide support and development deliverables as required by projects. In addition to proactively and substantially engage and collaborate with business stakeholders to solve difficult business needs in the strategic priorities of the Bank; the role involves liaising with external partners to deliver development deliverables. Key Responsibilities Manage the deployment of extensions and additions to the system, providing specifications for change, and liaising with internal or external development resources to deliver agreed system changes on Salesforce and other ancillary systems. Supervise, mentor, coach, develop and motivate direct reports, providing technical expertise to ensure they know what is expected of them, maximise their performance and develop their potential striving for continually improving team efficiency and effectiveness. Manage the performance and relationships with external partners/vendors to deliver development changes and deliver the functionality required, building partnerships that deliver real value. Manage business stakeholders by developing positive relationships through appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives. Organise and prioritise competing responsibilities and deliver a plan to achieve required results. Manage the development environment including source control, testing systems and associated tools, as well as introduce control to all system environments and clear separation of access as per audit requirements. Develop and deploy structured development methodologies to be used across all the Bank's systems. Define and maintain team operating standards for items such as System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, coding standards, issue tracking, reporting to improve productivity and quality in the deliverables. Deliver second line application support for all systems of the Bank and deliver software (10%) correction if needed using the appropriate incident and problem management principles. Analyse current system enhancements with a view to enhancing efficiency and automation. Perform data migration/manipulation/analysis which may be needed as part of the implementation of new enhancements or for regulatory requirements. Assist/lead the design of new systems and upgrades Contribute and initiate the design of high level solutions. Deliver one off activities and projects to the outcomes and standards agreed with line manager. Qualifications & Experience Salesforce developer certifications. Desirable Experience of overseeing and managing third party vendor's performance and relationships. Understanding of Islamic Finance Knowledge & Skills Significant experience of working on Salesforce technologies (force.com) Web design skills including use of frameworks (such as Angular js) Experience of working on System front end user Interfaces (UIs) Proven experience of managing, leading, motivating and developing internal and external teams. Strong organisational and personal effectiveness skills, including planning, forecasting and time and project management, with a proven track record of project delivery in cross functional projects. Excellent oral and written communication and the ability to adapt to engage and manage internal and stakeholders, developing relationships at all levels effectively. Sound knowledge of structured change management, software development lifecycle and a range of development methodologies. Analytical, innovative and enquiring approach and the ability to think above problems and deliver solutions, working autonomously and taking the initiative. Ability and willingness to adopt a flexible approach to address specific demands and tight deadlines. ASP.net and classic ASP Extensive experience in CSS/HTML and javascript to enhance user experience.
