The Business Services and Outsourcing team are essential to meeting our clients' evolving requirements. As well as delivering long-term, sustainable value to businesses by providing a range of solutions such as accounting, payroll and compliance services, they also play a key role in tying together many of our services across BDO both domestically and internationally. By building deep and meaningful relationships with a range of clients from ambitious entrepreneurial SMEs to large multi-national groups, our BS&O team don’t just advise on their specific business challenges, they open doors for other teams to provide our firm’s wider service offering. To succeed in this agile environment, you’ll need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and initiative. Overview
We’re creating something new and ambitious – an FS Business Services Outsourcing (BSO) team in Scotland. This is a unique opportunity to shape a practice from the ground up and capture a market that’s currently serviced out of London.
Our focus will be on high-growth sectors such as asset and fund management, fintech, and e-money & payments – areas with minimal audit independence restrictions and strong mid-market potential.

We’re looking for a credible, driven, and experienced BSO professional who thrives in the financial services sector and wants to make a real impact. If you’re passionate about creating something distinctive and leading from the front, we want to hear from you!
You'll be someone with:
1. Motivated, self starter with the desire to grow a business from scratch
2. Ability to persuade and be credible in the FS market
3. Strong FS and regulatory knowledge
4. Ability to win work across the various FS disciplines
5. Knowledge of the FS market as well as the services BDO offers
