A well-established business that operates as part of a growing meat wholesale business supplying restaurants and wedding venues is looking for an experienced, Skilled Butcher to join its night production team of 4.

What you’ll be doing as Skilled Butcher:
This is a hands-on production role suited for someone who enjoys working in a small, collaborative environment and is looking for stability and potential career progression as the business grows.
Key responsibilities:
Sausage production, meat portioning, and preparation of value-added products (e.g. pigs in blankets)
Maintain consistency and quality standards during night-shift production
Adhere to all food hygiene, safety, and traceability requirements
Support efficient workflow and assist colleagues as needed
Increased production during seasonal periods (e.g. Christmas)
What we’re looking for in a Skilled Butcher:
Proven experience as a butcher, ideally within sausage or meat processing environments
Strong knife skills and understanding of portioning and yields
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards
Reliable, consistent, and quality-focused
