Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a growing team at a metal fabrication facility in Newton Abbot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturer offering full training, excellent facilities, and potential for long-term employment.
Shift Patterns & Pay
* Day Shift: Monday to Thursday: 6am - 4pm. £12.21 per hour. Overtime paid at £18.31 per hour.
* Night Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 6pm - 6am. £13.21 per hour. Overtime paid at £18.66 per hour.
Both roles are temporary to permanent, with immediate starts available.
Main Responsibilities
* Operating CNC machines to produce metal components to specification.
* Basic welding and fabrication of metal parts.
* Quality checking of finished products.
* Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
* Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in manufacturing or production is desirable.
* Familiarity with CNC machines or welding techniques is beneficial.
* Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
* Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
* Manual handling experience advantageous.
