About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join our growing team. As a Payroll Officer within HR/People Services, you will be responsible for processing monthly payroll for all staff across various offices.
You will deal with timesheets and shift patterns, input payroll data into our HR systems, manage tax and pension deductions, and provide excellent customer service to resolve any related payroll queries.
We require someone with proven experience in a payroll position, ideally as part of a HR/People Services team. You should have high levels of accuracy, problem-solving skills, and good communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process monthly payroll for all staff.
* Deal with timesheets and shift patterns.
* Input payroll data into our HR systems.
* Manage tax and pension deductions.
* Provide excellent customer service to resolve payroll queries.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll.
* High levels of accuracy and ability to adapt well to using several systems.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
* Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with people.
* Organised and confident working accurately to deadlines.
