Are you an experienced Contract Manager looking for a long‑term role with a reputable contractor in Yorkshire?A growing regional construction business is seeking a commercially minded and operationally strong Contract Manager to oversee multiple live projects across Yorkshire.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong pipeline and a commitment to quality and client delivery.
The RoleYou will take responsibility for managing several projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. Working closely with Site Managers, QS teams, and senior leadership, you will be the main point of contact for clients, driving performance and maintaining high standards across all phases of delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee a portfolio of construction projects across the Yorkshire regionLead, support, and mentor Site Managers and project delivery teamsEnsure compliance with health & safety legislation and company proceduresMonitor project progress, quality, programme, and financial performanceManage client relationships, attend progress meetings, and produce reportsCoordinate with commercial teams on budgets, variations, and forecastingDrive continuous improvement and consistent delivery standards across sitesEnsure defects, handovers, and close‑out processes are completed effectively
About YouProven experience as a Contract Manager in construction, fit-out, or property servicesStrong operational leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsExcellent client‑facing communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesCommercial awareness with an understanding of budgets, cost control, and forecastingStrong knowledge of H&S, regulations, and quality assurance proceduresValid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
