We're looking for Plant Operatives / Drivers to assist with snow clearance operations across airside areas during the winter season. This is an ad-hoc, flexible role ideal for those in construction, agriculture, shift-based work, or anyone who is semi-retired or self-employed with availability for short-notice shifts.

Key Responsibilities
As a Winter Resilience Operative, you will be required to:
* Attend a 4hr, evening induction at the start of the season and an additional three, 8hr (non-consecutive) training sessions throughout the Winter season.
* Be available to attend ad-hoc shifts based on adverse weather
•Safely and efficiently work within a team to remove snow using Gators
* Have the ability to work assigned shifts, and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require
* Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
Shift Information
* This is emergency response work – hours will vary.
* Shifts can be days, nights, weekends, or holidays based on weather.
* Flexibility and availability at short notice are essential.
What You'll Need
* A full, manual UK driving licence (essential).
* Proven, recent experience operatibe plant such as: Tractor, Multihog, Telehandler, Dumper, Excavator etc
* A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
* A zero-tolerance approach to health & safety practices.
* No unspent criminal convictions – a DBS check will be required if successful.
To Qualify for Airside Clearance, You Must Provide:
* 5-year verifiable work/self-employment or education history.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
* Proof of National Insurance number.
* Proof of address dated within the last 3 months.
Ideal for Candidates With Experience In:
* Groundworks, landscaping, plant operation, construction, farming, or similar trades.
* Self-employment, flexible/zero-hour contracts, or part-time shift work.
* Semi-retired individuals seeking occasional work.
