Project Manager – High-Rise Cladding Remediation * Location: Manchester * Salary: Up to £65,000 £6,000 Car Allowance * Project: £12.5m cladding remediation on a high rise block Role We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead a major £12.5m cladding remediation project on a high-rise residential block in Manchester. Working for an established and reputable main contractor, you will take full responsibility for delivering a complex façade remediation scheme, ensuring compliance with the latest building and fire safety regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and technically knowledgeable PM to take ownership of a flagship project with long-term progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Lead the end-to-end delivery of a £12.5m cladding remediation project on an occupied high-rise building. * Manage site teams, specialist cladding subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the project on programme and within budget. * Develop and manage project programmes, RAMS, quality plans, progress reports, and H&S documentation. * Ensure full compliance with the Building Safety Act, fire safety standards, and façade remediation requirements. * Maintain strong communication with residents, client representatives, and key stakeholders. * Work collaboratively with commercial, design, and technical teams to manage variations, costs, and technical challenges. * Drive a strong safety culture on site and ensure all works meet quality expectations. Key Requirements * Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment. * Background in cladding, façade, recladding, or high-rise remediation projects is essential. * Strong understanding of fire safety, building safety regulations, and façade systems. * Excellent leadership, planning, and client-facing skills. * Ability to manage complex high-rise logistics and work in occupied environments. * SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid; relevant construction or engineering qualifications preferred.
