Role overview
To install fire doors in customer premises, covering a wide range of sectors including care homes, hospitals, schools, hotels etc.
Key tasks
* Installation of new BM Trada Q Mark Fire Doors and frames
* To be familiar with and understand the current fire regulations to ensure the doors are fully compliant.
* To be able to identify labels, CE marks and Plugs to show that a door is certified.
* Fire Door Maintenance / Remedial Works
Fire Stopping/Compartmentalisation.
Service Delivery
* Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance.
Managing Risk
* Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your operations.
* Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business
Managing Health & Safety
* Conduct any Risk Assessments and Method Statements, compiling reports in line with H&S requirements
* Liaising with the Head of Compliance to ensure any compliance as part of your role is in line with the framework set.
Knowledge and Skills (what you know and what you can do)
* Familiar with the BM Trada Q Mark Scheme
* Install/maintaining fire doors.
Experience (what you have done)
Essential -
* Proven track record in installing fire doors and/or fire door maintenance.
Desirbale -
* Some fire stopping experience would be beneficial.
Personal qualities (the way you think and act)
* Self-motivated, reliable, punctual and take pride in the quality of your work.
* Willingness to travel/work away when required.
* Able to act in a professional manner.
* Good communication Skills.
Qualifications
Essential -
* Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Joinery or relevant experience.
* Full UK Driving license
Desirable -
* CSCS Card Joinery (Blue)

Pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
