The Role
As an FE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons to post-16 students across your subject specialism. You’ll support learners in developing subject knowledge, independent study skills, and confidence as they progress towards further education or employment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Teaching post-16 students in a college or sixth form setting
2. Planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons
3. Supporting students with coursework, assessments, and exam preparation
4. Promoting independent learning and critical thinking
5. Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
6. Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
7. Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Requirements
To be considered for this FE Teacher role, you will need:
13. Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
14. Experience teaching post-16 students or KS5
15. Strong subject knowledge within your specialism
16. The ability to engage and motivate older learners
17. Good classroom and behaviour management skills
18. A commitment to student progress and achievement
19. Eligibility to work in the UK
20. A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
This role is suitable for experienced FE Teachers, secondary teachers with KS5 experience, or ECTs looking to move into further education.
