Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In care assistant to join our team in Doncaster, United Kingdom. As a Live In care assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, enhancing their quality of life and supporting their independence.
* Deliver personalised care and support, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration
* Provide emotional support, companionship, and help with light housekeeping tasks
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and respond appropriately to emergencies
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
* Genuine caring nature and commitment to improving the lives of others
* Previous experience in caregiving is advantageous, but full training will be provided
* Valid full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Ability to work flexible hours and commit to a live-in schedule
* Willingness to undertake Live-In assignments away from home
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Physical fitness to assist with daily tasks and mobility support
* Patience, empathy, and understanding towards clients' needs
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and client needs
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
