We are seeking a talented and experienced Design & Technology Teacher to join our dedicated DT Department at a thriving school in Staffordshire. 👨🏫 About the Role
As an Experienced DT Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.

Design and implement engaging, project-based lessons that promote problem-solving, creativity, and technical skill development.
*
Teach a broad DT curriculum including materials, processes, CAD/CAM, and product design.
*
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously evolve a dynamic curriculum aligned with industry trends and student interests.
*
Promote and maintain a safe and productive workshop environment, modelling proper use of tools and machinery.
*
Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
*
Contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, design competitions, and practical workshops.
*
Support department development and potentially mentor junior colleagues or lead subject-specific initiatives.

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DT Teacher with:
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree or specialism in Design & Technology
✔️ Strong experience delivering engaging DT lessons, particularly in practical and workshop settings
✔️ A solid understanding of materials, processes, CAD/CAM, and health & safety procedures
✔️ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ A collaborative and forward-thinking mindset
