Your role: You will join a team who deliver a high quality and effective service for the Fostering team to recruit new foster carers and support existing carers for Wigan. The duties will including facilitating and minuting fostering panel and processing of financial payments. You will work in a team working to strict deadlines and within statutory timescale. You will provide day to day administrative support to assist with the achievement of the team’s functions through delivering high standards of customer care to foster carers, colleagues, and other professionals. You will embody the Team Wigan values and behaviours, working with colleagues across the Council and its wider partners, to achieve best outcomes and deliver against the Progress with Unity principles. About you: We want great team players who are organised and have a passion for providing administrative support to join our teams. If you are a whizz at using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and are a great communicator, we would love to hear from you. Our ideal candidates would be an experienced minute taker or have experience in taking notes from meetings and experience using a case management or recording system however full training will be provided.
