Our client are looking for a Portfolio Development Manager to help contribute to the rapid growth of their UK/EU development operations. Focussing primarily on the Solar market you will be tasked with managing the pipeline from early stage ensuring they are bankable and ready for investment.

In your new role you will be responsible for:
* Drive new/self-generated development opportunities by working closely with Channel Partners to identify and mature opportunities, co-ordinate and report upon development process by close collaboration with external resource: planning, PPA, technical, commercial, engineering, procurement, legal, grid, delivery through to the operational phase.
* Bridge the relationship with all relevant stakeholders including Channel Partners, DNO, landowners, ICP, EPC and external resource to ensure competent negotiations on land rights, deeds, permits, DNO offers, planning and PPA interactions where required.
* Oversee projects effectively – leading meetings and communications and directing stakeholders to ensure maximum efficiency. This requires a high level of action-orientated, clear communication at all times, including weekly and monthly meetings/reporting to peers, project team and the Senior Management Team
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s Degree ideally in sciences, finance or engineering electrical
* Minimum 5 years’ experience and experience in portfolio development
* Understanding of planning and permitted development for renewable developments.
* Understanding of grid application and offer process and the ability to interpret offers. Knowledge/relationships with UK DNOs and National Grid.
