Job title – Housing Performance and Systems Officer
Location – Lyndhurst, SO43 (Hybrid – 2 days per week remote working subject to operational needs)
Contract – Permanent
Hours – Full time 37 hours per week,
Salary - £35,646 – £39,469 per annum
A forward-thinking housing provider is seeking an experienced Housing Performance and Systems Officer to join their performance and insight function. This role plays a vital part in supporting service delivery through system optimisation, performance reporting, and supporting the implementation of a new housing IT system.
This is a great opportunity for someone analytical and proactive, with experience in data management, project support, and system administration within a housing or public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement SMART KPIs to measure and monitor service performance
Maintain and update Power BI dashboards and produce management reports
Support and train staff on the effective use of housing IT systems
Assist with the implementation of a new housing system, including testing, feedback, and liaison with suppliers
Collate and submit statutory data returns (e.g. CORE, NROSH, HCLIC, LAHS)
Deliver training to staff and lead user forums to improve system use and reporting standards
Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project plans, RAID logs, and highlight reports
Liaise with service leads, ICT, and suppliers to resolve system or data issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong understanding of housing data and performance frameworks
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills; confident with Power BI
Proven experience working with housing systems and delivering system improvements
Effective communicator with the ability to train and support staff
Ability to prioritise and manage workload across multiple tasks and stakeholders
Confident working independently and contributing to wider team initiatives
Experience supporting or leading housing-related IT system implementationsDesirable:
Working knowledge of Prince2 or similar methodologies
Experience using systems such as Uniclass, DRS, or Microsoft Project
Background in housing or regulated public sector environment
