Based at our Head Office in Egton, near Whitby, North Yorkshire, we’re looking for a proactive, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our team in a hybrid role that blends phone sales, admin support, fleet coordination, and digital content creation.
Role Overview
This is a varied and dynamic position ideal for someone who enjoys switching between customer communication, operational organisation, and creative content production. You’ll be a key part of the day‑to‑day running of the business, supporting customers, managing our fleet of mobile fitters, and helping to grow our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Phone Sales & Customer Support
o Handle inbound customer enquiries with professionalism and warmth.
o Provide accurate quotes, product information, and booking availability.
o Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through confident, consultative sales.
o Maintain excellent product knowledge across towbars, electrics, and vehicle compatibility.
o Ensure every customer receives a smooth, friendly, and helpful experience.
2. Administration & Booking Management
o Manage daily schedules and booking confirmations.
o Update CRM systems, job sheets, and internal records accurately.
o Support the operations team with general admin tasks.
o Liaise with suppliers when required.
3. Fleet Management
o Coordinate the schedules of our nationwide team of mobile towbar fitters.
o Monitor job progress, travel times, and route efficiency.
o Ensure vehicles are maintained, serviced, and compliant.
o Act as a communication link between customers and fitters throughout the day.
o Troubleshoot issues quickly and calmly to keep the fleet running smoothly.
4. Social Media & Website Content Production
o Capture and create engaging content showcasing our work, services, and team.
o Produce short-form videos, photos, and posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
o Assist with updating website content, including blogs, landing pages, and product information.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style.
o Spot opportunities for content during day-to-day operations.
Skills & Experience – Essential
* Confident phone manner and strong customer service skills.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong written communication and attention to detail.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
* Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
* Comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and scheduling software.
Skills & Experience – Desirable
* Experience in sales or booking-based customer service.
* Familiarity with automotive products or technical services.
* Photography, videography, or editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe).
* Previous experience coordinating teams or logistics.
