Overview
Ward receptionist on a 16 bedded ward within the surgical division – specifically Head & Neck. Working as part of the team to facilitate good patient flow and patient journey on the ward.
Responsibilities
* Organise appointments, update PAS demographics for all ward patients/transactions (admitting/discharging, etc.), book appointments, prepare clinics and scan.
* Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
* Demonstrate a reasonable level of initiative in organising workloads and taking decisions/action within defined limits.
* Provide support to staff and patients as needed.
Requirements
* Computer skills – working with multiple systems.
* Team‑working ability and adaptability to a busy environment.
