Michael Page are working with a local authority to support them in their search for an Interim Recruitment Manager on a 3 month day rate contract. This role offers hybrid working, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week. Client Details You will be joining a local authority, employing over 1000 people in a wide variety of roles that support the local community. The Recruitment Manager will lead a team of between 3 - 5 and support on the hiring of executive functions within the council. Description The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for: Supporting the Director in the procurement of the attraction and talent system (Talos). Task management of the teams' deliverables (currently 3 FTE) Supporting the Director with recruitment to vacant posts within the team and wider HR Structure. Designing a redeployment policy and secondment policy Design 'entry to work' programs for students within local schools studying GCSE-T Levels. Embed the new recruitment tools (currently introducing success profiles into the Council). Producing MI from the recruitment system with a view to supporting better insights on diversity at all stages of the recruitment cycle. Supporting with progression of all senior management and above recruitment for Exec Directorates *the completion of work in this area, also has support from an existing interim and it is expected you will support them where required. Profile A successful Interim Recruitment Manager should have: Proven track record of leading operational teams hands on in a customer-centric environment, consistently delivering high-quality services in fast-paced, complex environment Experience working in a local authority or similar government body Ability to start immediately and commit to a 3 month contractJob Offer An all inclusive day rate of £375.
