What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include
10. P&L Management: You will own the profit and loss statement for credit products, support the setting of revenue targets and cost controls to ensure the credit portfolio meets or exceeds financial goals
11. Customer Acquisition and Growth: Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new customers, using our core channels of dotcom, stores and new digital channels. You will collaborate with the marketing and loyalty teams to create compelling offers and campaigns that drive customer interest and increase credit product adoption
12. Customer Engagement and Spend: Support the design of programs and incentives that encourage existing customers to use their credit products more frequently. This could include rewards programs, cross-promotions with other product lines, or personalised offers to increase spend
13. Risk Management and Compliance: Work closely with Bank’s risk management and relevant compliance teams to ensure credit products adhere to industry regulations and internal policies. You are responsible for monitoring accept rate with Bank and leading on taking corrective actions to maintain a balanced risk profile
14. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on the performance of credit products, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. You use data analytics to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
15. Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners, such as Digital, Technology, Retail,, Data & Insights, Finance and M&S Bank to ensure that Financial Services Products are well-positioned to take advantage of opportunities
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
16. Experience on the Financial Services sector especially Embedded and Digital Credit ideally with Retail experience
17. 3rd Party relationship management and commercial negotiation
18. Proposition development including development of commercial business cases
19. Experience of product acquisition, portfolio management, marketing & channel management/delivery with a clear focus on customer outcomes and experience
20. Experience and good understanding of Financial Services P&L
