Sales Manager
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (Onsite)
Salary: Circa £75,000 + Commission
Are you a strategic yet hands on sales leader with proven success in both B2B and B2C environments? Do you enjoy leading from the front, mentoring talent, and playing a pivotal role in driving commercial success?
On behalf of our client, a growing family run business, we are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager. This is a key leadership appointment for an organisation with strong ambitions and a collaborative, people-focused culture.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded leader who is as comfortable developing strategy as they are engaging directly with customers. You will be both a leader and a doer - who can inspire a small team while taking personal ownership of key sales opportunities.
Salary is circa £75,000 with commission. Benefits include 21 days holiday plus Bank
Holiday, a day annual leave for your Birthday and access to a company car.
As the Sales Manager, your key responsibilities are:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across commercial and consumer channels
* Lead, manage, and motivate a small sales team, providing clear targets, ongoing support, and training
* Actively participate in customer engagements, leading by example in key sales meetings
* Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies and identify new business opportunities
* Oversee recruitment, training, and resource planning to ensure team capability aligns with business needs
* Analyse sales data, set pricing strategies, and maintain accurate performance reports to inform decision-making
* Design and implement targeted sales campaigns, including digital and in-store promotions, to maximise market reach and profitability
As the Sales Manager, your skills & experience will include:
* A proven success working within a senior sales leadership role, ideally within renewable energy, electrical contractor or solar PV sales
* Strong exposure to both B2B and B2C sales channels
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - approachable, collaborative, and motivational
* Commercially astute with a strong understanding of pricing, margin management, and forecasting
* Willingness to travel occasionally for face-to-face meetings
