Main duties will include; Work with a team of team of GP's, pharmacists, technicians, practice nurses, social prescribers, physiotherapists and registrars/students Liaise with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve medicines-related queries Monitor practice prescribing and adherence to local and national prescribing policies Improve service and quality through mechanisms such as audit Provide structured medication reviews, manage long term conditions and the management of medicines on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing Manage repeat prescription authorisations and reauthorisation, acute prescription request Monitor practice prescribing and adherence to local and national prescribing policies About the Candidate To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will: Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC Hold a NVQ Level 3 in pharmacy services, or equivalent Strong experience working as a pharmacy technician Strong IT skills Attention to detail Ability to prioritise workload and manage time efficiently Understanding data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding principles About Us The doctors and staff aspire to provide traditional family medicine and the highest quality of care.
