TimePlan Education Manchester is recruiting enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a successful Bury secondary school. This is a perfect stepping stone into teaching for those with degrees in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, Sport, or related subjects.
Role Overview:
You will be supporting teachers across subject departments, providing targeted intervention and working with pupils who need academic stretch or additional academic catch-up. This role will give you unrivalled classroom experience before progressing to teacher training.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching staff across KS3 and KS4 curriculum areas
Provide small-group tuition and booster sessions
Assist with lesson planning and resource creation
Work with pupils preparing for GCSE exams
Develop your own subject-specialist knowledge and teaching confidence
Support extracurricular clubs and enrichm4ent activities (if desired)What we're looking for:
Recent graduate with strong academic credentials
Considering a future career in teaching or education
