Become a key advisor, building strong client relationships across various sectors. You'll guide clients through the complexities of building projects, from design and construction to maintenance and repair, with a particular focus on insurance claims for residential and commercial properties. We handle over two-thousand UK-wide insurance losses annually and specialize in resolving claims for insurers, policyholders, and their advisors.
This role offers a platform for the successful candidate to demonstrate ambition and passion for customer service through delivering exceptional work and client excellence.
Our Graduate Programme provides hands-on experience, diverse projects, and structured support towards chartered status, including APC mentorship from industry experts.
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will:
1. Provide advice on design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of buildings and sites.
2. Undertake inspections, including acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys, and defect investigations.
3. Prepare reports, schedules of work, and specifications.
4. Design and oversee works using recognized building contracts and technical standards.
5. Understand and apply relevant legislation such as health and safety, party wall, building regulations, and planning.
6. Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.

The company employs highly skilled professionals including Chartered Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, and Architects, operating across the UK within the insurance market.

The person
What you’ll need:
* A full UK driving license and access to a car, as regular travel to client sites, often remote, is required.
* An RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying, graduated or with qualification before August 2025.
* The right to live and work in the UK; note that visa sponsorship is not available due to government salary requirements.
* Excellent verbal communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
* Strong written communication and attention to detail for technical documents.
* A methodical problem-solving approach.
* Experience working to deadlines.
* Knowledge of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices, including statutory requirements and technical publications.
* Understanding of CDM Regs 2015, Party Wall, and Building Regulation legislation.
