We are pleased to be working with a University in South-West London to recruit a new Health and Safety Officer for the business. You will be joining a long-standing and supportive Health and Safety team to promote a positive culture and maintain compliance across the University. As Health and Safety Officer you will: Coordinate the DSE programme, including completing DSE Assessments for on-site and remote staff, and liaising with equipment suppliers Proactively advise staff, contractors, and students on Health and Safety related matters Lead the contractor safety programme across the campus to ensure contractor risks and activities are managed correctly. Identify training needs and where appropriate create and deliver relevant Health and Safety training. Work alongside the wider Health and Safety team to coordinate risk assessments, complete audits, and investigate incidents. To be considered for this role you should have: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff Experience carrying out DSE assessments is highly desirable Training experience is beneficial Offering a salary of up to £40,000, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at a beautiful campus in a diverse and fulfilling role.
