Purpose of role
The Email Marketing Executive produces, sends and quality assures timely, engaging, dynamic and high-quality email communications to our B2B audiences using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Emails will be tagged effectively, tested and optimised for perfect inbox placement. Working with the Senior Email Marketing Manager, you will share best practices and assist in the continuous improvement and optimisation of our email activity.
Key Tasks
* Schedule, build, quality assure and dispatch effective emails.
* Work with the Content team to ensure email copy is effective for email marketing.
* Ensure testing and optimisation of all email sends including email rendering in mailboxes, browsers, and devices, as well as subject line and content testing.
* Monitor and optimise email deliverability.
* Tag emails to ensure effective reporting.
* Maintain headline email reporting.
* Monitor the ‘email replies’ inbox, fulfil data administration activities and unsubscribe requests.
* Support and quality assure List Email activity in Salesforce.
* Support Eventbrite integration activities.
* Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager.
You’ll have/bring
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
* Proven success using relevant Email Marketing systems to deliver high-quality email journeys and standalone communications.
* Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
* Knowledge of, and experience in, using relevant database systems.
* Understanding of segmentation and targeting fundamentals.
* An ability to effectively contribute to creative and innovative solutions to projects and objectives.
* An ability to adopt an agile approach to working and to remain productive in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
* An ability to foster collaboration, constructive dialogue, and to build trust with peers.
* A learning mindset – using challenges and opportunities to improve team and personal performance.
* Ability to communicate clearly when engaging with internal & external stakeholders, confidently and articulately.
* Proven success in delivering project tasks on time and to a high standard.
* Initiative to take responsibility and ownership of tasks, and desire to keep up with industry trends to help continuously improve performance.
* A willingness to use new tools (including AI) to help improve quality and productivity.
* A passion for London.
Desirable:
* Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
* Experience using Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud).
* Awareness of relevant compliance and security requirements.
