Overview
A Project Accountant supports financial projects and system transformation activities, ensuring financial records are accurate, reconciled, and compliant. In this role, the focus is on working with SAP HANA systems during a transition or archive project, reconciling data between old and new systems, maintaining financial record integrity, and supporting smooth financial system migration processes.
Qualifications
* Accounting qualification or part-qualified accountant
Skills & Experience required
* Strong experience using SAP HANA
* Financial reconciliation experience
* Understanding of financial systems transformation projects
* Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience maintaining data and records integrity
Key Responsibilities
* Reconcile financial data between existing and new SAP systems
* Support financial transformation and archive projects
* Ensure integrity and accuracy of accounting records
* Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
* Assist with system migration and testing activities
* Produce reconciliation and project reports
