Starting Salary: £40,221 with the opportunity to progress to £44,428 pa
Hours: 37 per week

Job Duties:
Herts FullStop (HFS) is a trading arm of Hertfordshire County Council. HFS specialises in providing goods and FM services into the education sector, wider public sector and private sector.

The Accounts Receivable Team Leader is a new role, designed to bolster the Finance Team as the business seeks to transform its existing operations and deliver increased returns to the Council.
The role has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the accounts receivable business functions. The role plays a key part in risk management and the internal controls of finance; hence a keen eye for detail is a must.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the team. Ensure the available resource pro-actively flexes with seasonal demand & patterns of the business.
Managing the provision of a full range of accounts receivable functions, dealing with all general matters and more complex correspondence.
Included within this area of responsibility is:-
Overseeing customer credit checks
Overseeing customer set up/changes
Bad debt management, including the instruction of write off and legal proceedings
Provide an information stream to management utilising multiple reporting streams available:-
Provide daily updates of performance of the service to agreed targets
Produce weekly and monthly statistics to show compliance with the KPI’s agreed.
Analyse the data to determine the progress to further increase efficiency and improve the overall customer journey
We are looking for you to be an ATT qualified Account or possess equivalent experience.
Demonstrable skills in keeping accurate records and managing own workload to keep records up to date in line with deadlines.
