This is therefore a great chance to join the team and work closely with the Head Of.
Key responsibilities: Managing each individual case from application to execution Undertaking detailed due diligence on complex financial matters, asset valuations, credit reports and financial status Undertaking detailed due diligence on the prospective borrower’s background and legal case, compiling and reviewing legal documents Compiling asset schedules and underwriting papers Identifying risks and recommending appropriate mitigation where possible Communicating with solicitors and prospective borrowers both over email and on the telephone Ensuring all transactions fit within the company’s Credit Policy Ensuring the company’s compliance policies e.g.
AML & data protection etc are adhered to in line with FCA regulations Updating senior members of the team on a regular basis on the status of applications across a large number of cases being underwritten Keeping borrowers and solicitors updated about the status of applications Preparing loan documentation Collating executed documentation Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak to solicitors at large law firms and the ability to present to senior management Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Ability to manage a large number of cases Ability to work under pressure and handle variable workloads A can-do attitude and someone who thrives in a busy and fast paced environment Experience in Consumer Lending is helpful, but not a prerequisite Experience of FCA regulations is helpful, but not a prerequisite Adaptable to change and being able to pivot in a fast-moving environment
