The Role
As an Autism Support Worker, you'll work closely with primary-aged pupils (typically 4-11 years old) with autism and additional needs. You'll help create a safe, engaging, and structured environment where children can build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to each child
Delivering fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning activities
Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Encouraging independence and early life skills development
Helping maintain a positive, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment
Who We're Looking for someone who:
Has experience with, or a strong interest in, supporting children with autism
Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about working with young children
Can build strong, trusting relationships with primary-aged pupils
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs

Requirements
Experience as an Autism Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, or similar (preferred)
