Temporary Accounts Assistant (QuickBooks)
Location: Malvern
Pay:£16.60-£18 per hour
Hours: 20-25 per week
Contract: Temporary, ongoing - long-term sickness cover
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Assistant to provide cover during a period of long-term sickness. This is a flexible, temporary role with the potential to run on an ongoing basis. Experience with QuickBooks is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase invoices through a paperless system
* Credit control, including chasing overdue payments
* Processing supplier payments
* Sending customer statements
* Allocating bank payments
* Preparing and submitting HMRC payments
* Supporting VAT returns
* Handling incoming calls
* General office administration as required
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an accounts or finance role
* Proficiency in QuickBooks desirable
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Availability to start immediately
