We have exciting opportunities for Process Technicians to join our waste team at Rye Meads Sewage Works.
The role involves performing front-line activities such as operation, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure service delivery meets standards. This may include planned and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Travel to other sites within the surrounding area may be required.
Base Location: Rye Meads Sewage Works.
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 7:30-15:36, 38 hours/week, with opportunity for on-call duties with extra pay.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment to enhance resilience.
2. Operate and clean plant and equipment, maintaining safety standards.
3. Address reactive jobs following equipment failure.
4. Maintain site cleanliness and security checks.
5. Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Self-motivated, disciplined, eager to learn, and proactive attitude.
* Responsiveness to faults, problem-solving skills, and ownership.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to be trained in safety procedures.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards.
* Valid UK driving license is essential.
